I absolutely love Autumn,....the "second spring, where every leaf is a flower" when the air starts smelling like chimneys that are working overtime, houses are decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving is past, and the '90 days of Gloom' begin to spread their ghostly wings over my little farming community.

Here in the lovely Central Valley, we regrettably don't often get to see Mother Nature exchanging her Summer togs for Autumn layers, but how glorious it is when the leaves start changing and a little bit of bite creeps into the air to invigorate and energize!

The Job List

So, I'm desperate for a weekend job. Just about cried, lol, when I had to turn UPS down. It was the pinnacle of last year, being able to work with my dad for two months. Good bonding time. On the plus side, I'm guaranteed a job next Christmas if I want one.
